Bellvale Pinot Noir 2004
“Bellvale is the Burgundy-inspired Gippsland vineyard of former airline pilot John Ellis. Foresty Pinot mystery leads the way here, rather than straightforward bright Australian characteristics, giving subtle complexity to a core of red berry fruit. It's French-accented, restrained and relatively light, with a gentle, lingering finish. A name to watch.” - Ralph Kyte-Powell
Epicure: Uncorked magazine, supplement to The Age newspaper, August 2006. 4.5 stars.
