SilverMedal2013 Stony Block Pinot Noir

Bright ruby red with a hint of garnet, this wine keeps changing each time you return to it, so give it time if you want to completely appreciate its potential beauty. Intense bouquet, meaty and gamy at first, it shows up fresh dark berries and bramble flavours as soon as you sip it. You’ll find hints of black pepper, balsamic notes, and you’ll finish with liquorice. Full body, powerful elegant tannins, high acidity, good balance with softness given by the alcohol; Long finish – You can really enjoy it now, but giving it longer aging would let it develop all its potentiality.

BellvaleEstatePinotNoir2013

2014 Estate Level Pinot Noir

This classically styled Pinot Noir shows upfront raspberry and wild strawberry notes with complex, savoury spices such as clove and anise. Well-proportioned oak frames the background of dense, dark plums, briar and blackberry fruit. The palate is full and balanced with plenty of polished tannin and an excellent upright structure carrying a dense core of powerful fruit.

BellvaleAthenaChardonnay2012

2013 Athena’s Vineyard Chardonnay

The growing season was rather cool with some rain. Harvest was at the end of March, and the wine is crisp and fresh with layers of complexity showing notes of white peach and nectarine as a result. One is reminded once again why Chardonnay from a site with moderate climate can express such exquisite subtleties of flavour and texture.

BellvalePinotGrigio2014

2015 Bellvale Pinot Grigio

The Pinot Grigio vineyard adjoins the Chardonnay, where the red soil is moderately fertile and well drained resulting in good acidity. There are subtle subdued, well balanced flavours and good length…the perfect match for delicately flavoured foods.
